MRB "zeemanshoop"

MRB Zeemanshoop was build for the NZHRM in 1925 using funds from a donation by the College Zeemanshoop (Zeemanshoop translates to Sailors hope). She was stationed in Scheveningen and Urk from where she sailed out 224 times and saved 341 lifes of certain death.
During the war she was used to evacuate allied army staff and later was stolen from the germans by 4 students in order to flee with 46 prosecuted jewish refugees to england where she spend the remainder of the war as a communications vessel for the dutch minesweeping service.
Currently a second Zeemanshoop is in service with the KNRM (modern replacement for the NZHRM) after one of the refugees from the escape to england funded a lifeboat in exchange that it would carry the same name as the ship that saved her from certain death so many years ago.

IMPORTANT: Engine will not run with infinite fuel on!!!!!
The start up process is rather simple just turn the key and use the throttle lever to get moving
