Though I disagree with uber-pro medics only using to the ubersaw.
In casual, medic death is more frequent because little effort is made to protect them, and using the vita-saw to save 20% uber can be invaluable.
In competitive, opposing players will dodge ubersaw more vigilantly because of the huge advantage it would give to the opposing medic, the only reason why competitive medics still resort to the ubersaw is because the vita saw and solemn vow are banned from competitive leagues. Upon dying twice, you save 40% uber, thats 15% more then one swing with ubersaw, and as a medic, ure more likely to die with >20% uber, compared to getting a hit with the ubersaw.
I personally believe that uber-pro medics are not limited to ubersaw, since melee weapons with passive abilities are of more significant use to medics, competitive medics rarely pull out their melee weapons.
