Description
Welcome to OBO, the Overall Balance Overhaul, pronounced "oboe" (yes, like the instrument).

OBO is itself split up into many smaller mods to make finding, using, mixing and matching easier for users, and to make updating them easier on my end. Please read the main collection page for more info, as this description will only cover this submod specifically.

This is the Single & Double Shotguns rebalance mod, which turns these rather wimpy weapons into the short-range powerhouses they were meant to be!


RATIONALE:
Taking inspiration from DOOM, the Double Shotgun now dominates medium to large enemies at close range, and can be a powerful and reliable off-hand weapon. The Single Shotgun hasn't seen too many changes aside from a damage rebalance and substantial fire rate boost, and both weapons will now be less accurate and with more random pellet scatter when duel wielding.

This mod also rebalances the shotgun grenade launcher, increasing the power while tweaking the splash size, as well as making it reload faster. You'll also find the self-damage a heck of a lot more forving if you noob tube a baddie at point-blank. I've always disliked how these weapons disincentivize their use like that. Enjoy!
