NFST Zeus modules

Description
Description
This mod adds some zeus and editor modules. If you use the editor modules while preparing the mission, all players will need it to join your server.

Artillery strike (zeus)
This lets zeus call in fully configurable artillery fire missions. Settings include dispersion, safe zone, delay between rounds and repetition of salvos. For the time being, only three types of shell are available, but I hope to add more in the future, and in a more modular way.

Air strike (zeus)
This module allows zeuses to call in fully configurable air strikes. Settings include plane and bomb type, number of planes and their formation, flight height and speed, ingress and egress distance and bearing. The plane and bomb selection mechanisms are fully modular, meaning that the module will show all planes you have loaded in your game, not just the vanilla ones; it will also show all bombs that are compatible with the currently selected plane, so provided that the bombs and the planes are properly configured with arma's pylon system, they will show up in the module.

Add inventory (3den)
The "Add inventory - set destination" can work on its own. Any editor object linked to this module will have an inventory players can interact with. You can sync as many objects to a single "Add inventory - set destination" module as you want.

The "Add inventory - set source" modules requires a "Add inventory - set destination" module to work. First, place down a crate whose inventory you would like to copy paste to an object that has no inventory by default (ie a prop). Link this crate to the "Add inventory - set source module". Place down a "Add inventory - set destination", and link it to the "Add inventory - set source" module. Finally, place down the prop you want to have an inventory, and link it to the "Add inventory - set destination" module, and you're set! Your prop will now appear to have an inventory, and will already contain the items you placed in the first crate!

Warning
Be aware that napalm bombs are unfortunately not accurately dropped as it appears they do not have any in-flight glide control ability. I am working on finding a workaround, but if you have any ideas on that matter, please share :) !

Can you make some modifications to this mod?
So that the script can recognize various bombs and use various bombs. And so that the names of the aircraft are listed in alphabetical order.
This is a really great mod, but these parts are so disappointing.
1. The name of the aircraft is not listed alphabetically.
2. You cannot use various bombs.
3. Sometimes bombs fly in the wrong places.
I tried to solve it myself, but I just can't solve it.

Oh well I wish you the best still it's everything I ask for, I hope you can update it to make it compatible with Firewill's aircraft(all of the Firewill's aircraft use the same pylon configuration, so if you make changes for one it will apply for the rest) once you are available

Yes this is similar to the issue pointed out by @Aphextwin432 below. Some mods do not use the standard pylon configuration for their assets' ammunition. Unfortunately I don't see myself updating the mod to account for these variations, at least not anytime soon as I have dropped ArmA and modding altogether for a while.

Maybe your mod needs an update to keep up with bombs from other mods including rhs to show up in the screen.

I just found out that issue is not related to the plane model but the munitions, ammo that it was using. After downloading custom aircraft ordnance mods, all of my plane models are showing up

I mean none of them show up even though all of them can be spawned and used without any problems. I can see them on ZEUS module's original CAS bomb strike, missile strike menu too

Are you sure because none of the custom models I installed work f-15, f-16, f-22, a-10.

Hello, as explained in the description above, the module automatically loads all compatible planes from loaded mods. Compatibility in this case refers to the plane being properly configured with arma's pylon system. If a plane added by one of your mods doesn't show up, it's very likely to be due to a lack of pylon settings in that plane's config file.

Hi is there a way to add addon custom planes into this module ?
Kerpollo  [author] 4 Feb, 2023 @ 3:01am
Unfortunately some modded planes' bombs don't seem to work. As far as I know it might be due to different pylon settings I haven't been able to figure out yet :/
