She is slightly more efficient and faster at dusk and a lot more at nighttime.
Inside the caves her night benefits are always activated.

She'll drain sanity during day time instead of nighttime/dusk.

Sanity Auras won't affect her as she is immune to them.

She gains extra hunger from eating them.
She also gains sanity from wearing a bush hat.

It's a throwable weapon that anyone can use.
Throwing costs a lot of durability.
Auto-equip a new dagger after thrown if available.
Mumei also gains attack speed bonus when using it.

When Mumei throws it, the target struck by the dagger at dusk or nighttime will also get a Terror debuff.

Terrified creatures will get a 20% damage and movement speed debuff at nighttime.
The effects are halved during dusk.
Mumei also deals extra damage to affected target.

Mumei's lantern uses the body slot when equipped.
It's slightly weaker than the default lantern, but it automatically toggles off during day time and dusk to save fuel.
The fuel it uses is the same as the in-game lantern.
Anyone can use this lantern.

Mumei's friend is a companion that helps her gather berries!
Friend also serves as a storage exclusively for berries.
Berries stored inside friend also last longer than usual, similar to a salt box.

Going below 5% sanity will cause this, be very careful.

Mumei will snap and lose control. This also gives her enhanced movement speed,attack damage and night vision,
but she will try to kill almost anything no matter what. If pvp is on she will target players too.

She will automatically eat food for HEALING based on your HOTBAR ARRANGEMENTS. LEFT TO RIGHT.

At dusk or nighttime she will also apply a terror debuff on her target each time she attacks them.
During this form you can only eat and switch equipments.

By default this can't be triggered by wearing any insanity inducing items, but that can be enabled in the settings.

She'll return to normal eventually after getting back to 30% sanity.



She loses sanity during day time instead.

Since she is immune to sanity auras even the positive ones won't affect her.
