The following is an excerpt from A Mann's Guide to Mountain Survival (4th Edition):

You will never know when you will have to fight other mountain climbers to survive. The element of surprise is key in this situation: camouflage yourself and your guns in the mountain's likeness. The other climbers will never suspect that the very mountain they're walking on is actually a fully grown man ready to shoot them.
