Explanation (spoilers)
On the pirates' spaceship, you find traces of studies and experiments of incomprehensible plates, on which something is drawn and written. At the end of the level, you generally meet cells with killed monsters that inhabited the planet "Tau - Pandi" and are somehow connected with those plates .... After you decide to teleport to the planet and understand what is happening there.
