FM22 Light Skin

Description
With no Default Light Skin again this year, I have adapted last years version blending a Light Grey background with the Magenta and Purple Accents from FM22, with a layout based on the Default FM22 skin with a few tweaks.

Main changes outside of the colour changes;

- Player Attributes screen increased the size of the player face and logo, removed the scrollbars from the Attributes and added the Report option to the Small Selector panels.

- Best XI Screen changed the tactics icons on the pitch to use the ones from the Welcome screen that include the player faces.

Outside of the above changes and the colour changes the skin layout is largely the same as the Default Skin.

Install Instructions:

After clicking Subscribe Steam should automatically download and install the Skin for you.

To select the skin in game you will need to load the game, and go into the Preferences Menu, then in the middle you should have a section called Interface and in that is an option called Skin with a drop-down menu under it.

If you select the drop-down menu it should list all of the skins you have installed, if the skin you want is listed then just select it and press the Confirm button to load it.

If the skin you want isn't showing.

Then you can either select the Advanced option on the left and on the top right drop down select Interface, then scroll down the Skin section and untick Use caching to decrease loading times and tick Reload skin when confirming changes in Preferences.

Or in the search bar at the top type in Skin and in the listed results untick Use caching to decrease loading times and tick Reload skin when confirming changes in Preferences.

Then click Confirm at the bottom, this should then take you out of the Preferences menu but if you re-enter, it should have refreshed teh list of skins and your skin should now be in the list.

Once the skin is loaded you can turn the skin cache back on and untick the Always Reload button.

Unfortunately due to the limitations of the Steam Workshop it isn't possible for you to modify this version of the skin to either tweak the colours (outside of the limited in game options), alter the fonts, stop the blurring affect or enable Background changes.

If you want to do any of that then it is better for you to download the stand-alone version of the skin from my website; [sites.google.com]

Known Issues

With the new Transfer Deadline Day screens the yellow accent on that day replaces the other accent colours in the skin so some title text may not be that clear on deadline day, for the moment if you reload the skin with the skin cache turned off on transfer deadline day the game will revert to using the standard accent colours.

Really like this skin. Characters are so sharp and much easier to see versus dark mode. Thanks for taking the time to create it. Hoping there'll be a light mode in FM23

But i wished the Pink colured parts would be red or blue bcs it really does not fit the colour sheme.

So glad this mod exists - i really dont understand what this hype about dark modes is!

Ok, if you have an OLED and it burns your Organic LEDs to a premature disfunctionality by simply ligthing them up bcs that is how OLEDs work i could have sympathy for it but why would people with LCD Screens go for dark mode?

All hail to the Light!
