More XP Income

Description
A simple yet flexible mod that increases Army, Navy & Air Experience income. Has multiple settings to choose from. Created with balancing in mind.

Enables an optional passive income, buffs advisor experience income, increases XP from training. Also adds an option to slightly decrease the Political Power cost of advisors. All available for all countries or only player countries.

A complete breakdown of everything:
  • Country XP gained from training for all three branched multiplied by 1.5x (and max cap doubled)
  • Military Minister traits passive income buffed by 1.25x
  • Small, Medium or Large passive daily XP income for the country. Either 0.08 (resulting in 30 XP per year), 0.17 (60 XP per year) or 0.33 (120 XP per year.) [Can be disabled]
  • Cheaper Military Ministers are 10% or 25% cheaper in PP [Can be disabled]
  • Optional buffs either for all nations or exclusive for player nations (player exclusivity gets transferred over if releasing and playing as puppet)
  • Minimal footprint

While I do enjoy the new additions to the game in theory, there seems to be some serious inflation of prices. After a playthrough of the Russian civil war and another playthrough as interventionist United States, even with all the fighting and training and squeezing in military advisors, I could barely afford changing division templates, still sitting on the 2nd doctrinal research, and even the new tank designer was just too XP expensive.
The XP price inflation is partially probably intended, so you're not completely at the end of the doctrines by like 1939, however it's way too slow considering all the things you have to pay for now with XP (division templates, tank templates, doctrines, spirits...), with some of them even getting more expensive (switching out a support company is now double the price).
Still, I wanted XP to be a thing of importance, and not just get some "unlimited XP, everything is free" mod.

If you want to add the buff to an already running game, simply type the following in the console:
event aMoreXP.1

Should be compatible with any non-major mod.
Overwrites:
common\country_leader\00_traits.txt
Not Achievement Compatible!

You know... I am stupidly blind. The remark about overwriting the file is right above at the bottom of his comments.

Did some more digging and those variables I mentioned are all at the top of the new 00_traits file; @chief_experience_gain_high = 0.40 that is an example of what I mean. They have done this so the next time they alter the rates for the different classes of military chiefs [specialist, expert, genius] they just change these three entries because the rest just refer to them.
What I do not know is if Axariel had increased the rates for military chief XP gain

It worked - the advisors now have their proper stats. Rather than copy-pasting however I recommend just deleting the folder "common/country_leader" from the mod unless one feels brave enough to adjust the experience gain rates. The devs used to use individual stats with each trait but must have gotten tired of having to go through and find every use of a particular modifier when they needed to do some nerfing. Now they have a master setting and the traits simply are told to refer to the master variables.

The problem is because he has the "00_traits" file from the common/country_leader folder. Its out of date. I'm seeing set numbers for experience_gain_army = 0.15 [comments indicate it was raised from 0.12] whereas the devs are now using some sort of variable expression experience_gain_army = @chief_experience_gain_high. So I will run a little experiment and see if copy-pasting the file from the latest patch will fix the mod.
Then again I may have modified the mod myself for my own purposes [but not posted to the workshop]. However I too have been having the issue with some advisors not having their stats and this was the one mod [among 40 others] that I found to be breaking things.

hi, i might have found a bug: when playing RT56 with this mod on, some political advisors are missing descriptions and buff/debuffs, especially in countries from newest DLCs.

Will there an update of this mod in the near future ?

Every time I try to use the 'event aMoreXP .1" command, it never works and instead says ' no even with ID -1'. This has been happening with the mod for months, and is incredibly annoying because it effectively stops this mod from working with any save that wasn't loaded for the first time with the mod. Has anyone else experienced this?
