Description
CV CPU Tier 4, Unlock level 25

Primary roles: Heavy Combat, exploring
Secondary role: mobile base

Vena Duck was designed with the requirements of defeating strong opponents in mind:

Combat: Vena Duck is designed around using the rogue roll tactic. Rogue roll means rotating around role axis (press q) and rotating around the target (press D or A) at the same time. Enemy's shots will mostly miss except homing rockets. Thus relaying on shields is valid. The fixed weapons are located on the roll axis for easier aiming during rolling. The symmetry of left /right and up/down turrets gives 68 turrets an extra punch. The shap of the ship and the turrets' locations are designed in mind to focus the fire of many turrets on a single point. The high agility of the XL thrusters makes dodging maneuvers easier.

Resilience: The hull is full combat steel hull. Important internal walls are combat steel providing protection in case of hull breaches. All important system are redundant. One system located in port section and the other one placed in starboard section. Vena Duck will fly even with destroyed front half of the ship. Vena Duck has successful defeated the Warlord’s Satidere, a turret 77 turret OPV, and the Warlord’s Hunter, the OPV version of her.

Conquer ground POI: The cannon turrets located under Vena Duck destroy the defenses of ground POI easily.

Production: 70 grow plots provides plenty of food and fiber. 2 constructors produces on the go. The 6x 320 k cargo storage (incl. 2x ammo and 1x harvest) plus 12 cargo boxes (16 k) help to bring tons of loot home.

Storing of HV and SV: Vena Duck has 2 medium sized SV hangars. A retractable landing pad provides storage for a third vehicle. HV are stored by using SV as lifters (see pictures).

Impressive view from first person cockpit: The full glass cockpit provides an unrestricted view even to the ground during the flight. The full glass gives astonishing feelings during space flights. 2 additional pilot seats are available for emergencies.

Illuminating the ground: 26 spot lights illuminate the ground and the area in front. The spot lights are controlled via P-menue.

Blast doors: Internal blast doors seals external and internal doors.

Why going over the device limit? In times where Zirrax use ships with more than 100 turrets you need counter. Especially in single player.
Note: Please disable device limit in the game settings or spawn Fire Duck via “sbp” command in.
