This is a quick guide on the Wallpaper Engine application found on Steam. I'll touch base on the achievements for the application in this guide and also give you guys insight on some other uses for the application other then setting up eye candy on your desktops.

Wait, isn't this just software?

Well apparently this is gamified software where you can earn achievement unlocks from just using the software and customizing your desktop. There are a total of 17 achievements you can earn just by using the software.

The title says it all. This group is dedicated to helping players get 100% achievement completions for their Steam games, legitimately. Visit the 100% Achievements Group and click Join Group to participate.

There have been times I have used the Wallpaper Engine application as a tool during the creation of other guides. This happens where I want to take a creation of a windows desktop settings window during the setup or configuration process of loading a game. What I would do is find a wallpaper with a related theme and apply it to my desktop. Then I take the screenshots I need, edit them, and incorporate them into the guide.

I should note that when I do this, I always give the content creator a shout-out on the guide I used their background on, not to mention a shout-out to the Wallpaper Engine application that I used as a tool. The next section will showcase the guides I created using the Wallpaper Engine application.
