The Reefback was a high tech research vessel designed to study the geology, flora and fauna of Europa. Whilst the hulls were originally very weak, the top side has been hardened with testing and time to be tough as nails, the same cannot be said however for the bottom. Due to this, the Reefback excels at parking itself on the ocean floor and blending in while obsverving the ocean around it.

The Reefback also features a moon pool airlock, allowing seemless transition between the ocean and ship, but requires a steady flow of power to prevent the ocean from entering.
