Reborn Daito VRO - V6.0 Ready

Description
This mod adds the Daito corvette to the game. It is a cheaper and weaker variant of the Katana (like the Daito in X Rebirth). The segaris pioneers use it as alternative to the Katana for sector patrols and will sell it in their wharfs. Betty will say "Daito" when you select it.

You have to own the Cradle of Humanity DLC because this mod needs the 3D files for the Katana. I didn't include them because I don't want to publish any DLC content.

Ingame description:

The Daito is based on the Katana and was designed by a Terran mining company as a cheaper alternative for security patrols. It is less suitable for combat than its original, but because of its similarity to the Katana it has the same deterrent effect on enemy ships. Since it lacks some defensive systems compared to the Katana, it offers a slightly improved flight behavior and also more space for cargo and crew.

Well, something weird happened now: there are no Daito or Nudung in ship lists at wharfs anymore, and also with them installed I can't open a ships section in Pioneers and Argon blueprint purchase menus... I've disabled every other mod (except for VRO and DLCs, of course), started a new game and tried again, but nothing changed :winter2019sadyul:

It has no engines available for whatever reason... Could it be fixed if you still have time for that?

Daito has no advantages over katana. Even cheaper it has no sense to be available. the downgraded weapon layout is too much. it needs the 2 turret to have a use otherwise it is as weak as most m-class freighters or even weaker.

but unlike the well gunned comoran the daito has nothing in return, like superior speed or good cargohold over the katana.

emmm perhaps the introduction of Daito is indeed more realistic,i always wonder that if it's proper to grant Katana to Segaris, the Protectorate loves their damn fighters...and they let Segaris build offensive fleets with modern destroyer and advanced corvette

Couldnt find you on X4 modding discord, so ill share this info:
In next version of VRO "mandatory" tag for internal generators will be removed. This is to make it easier for players to up[date their ships and help with broken ships wihtout internal generators that player gets from quests
so please keep this in mind
