Ronnie Garvin

Ronnie Garvin is a former NWA World Heavyweight Champion who wrestled from 1962 until 1992, although he competed occasionally in matches for more than decade after.

The stepfather of Jimmy "Jam" Garvin worked for multiple promotions across the US and Canada early on in his career. He began working for Jim Crockett Promotions in the mid-80's, kicking off a run that saw him briefly hold the NWA's top title.

In the late 80's, Garvin had a two-year run with the WWF that included a memorable feud with Greg Valentine.
