I long stopped playing rimworld myself and probably won't update any of these. Source code is included in the mod file and anyone can update and reupload without asking me for permissions. This mod will stay up for v1.0.

============================================================

My stuff worth half when I'm selling them. I pay 50% more when buying stuff. It's stupid. There is no time to find a best communicater for each deal. However, a super-realistic market mechanic isn't wanted, so let's make it simple and less stupid.

This mod made it so that purchase and sell price will be static and always equal to the market value stat of the item to be traded.
- Market price loss due to difficulty is ignored.
- Market price modifiers due to social skill levels and certain pawn traits are ignored.
- Item specific sell price multipliers are ignored.
- The hard-coded 50% sell price factor and 150% purchase price factor are removed.

You will still have to pay double the price for certain goods from certain orbital traders.

Incompatibility: None

Reporting Issue

when I sell prisoner to Royal Tribute Collector,
I got honor, equal to actual silver value of prisoner.
like 1300 honor for one prisoner.
can you change this?
except for that, it's perfect:cyberdog:

Oh my god, you actually worked on a fix so fast again.

Do necromancers never sleep? Thank you so much! <3

@Hiroyan495 Should be fixed now, gifting any currency should now give the correct relation impact. Thanks for the report!

"Market price modifiers due to social skill levels and certain pawn traits are ignored."

Could it be, that this mod also affect "negotiation ability" and its impact on trading/gifts?
Jesus of Nazareth 18 Apr, 2022 @ 1:02pm
This mod causes trades to have a negative impact on relationships with other factions.

To reproduce the bug, simply gift silver (per 500 it will be -1 instead of +1) or make a trade where you pay enough silver to cause a relationship impact (it will be negative).

From what I can tell, this never happened in vanilla before, although vanilla has its own strange way of causing messed up prices due to how silly the trading price advantage based on a pawn's social skills works.

(Vanilla makes purchase prices lower, which is fine, but it can go below the actual market value of said item, which should just be capped at 100% instead. Even stranger, the selling prices become lower, to the point of being worse than those a bad negotiator would get when trading.)

I agree with Kazeel_Amataka. I could understand the price change if you were going to their settlements to buy, but they clearly want to get rid of this stuff since they are coming to your home to sell it. So why in the name of Tynan are they charging me 50% more for it?
Kazeel_Amataka 9 Dec, 2021 @ 4:44pm
Perfect. I never understand why you're always at a disadvantage in the trade deal
