I got these from some weird alternate plane full of strange platforms and limited footing. This colorful block's got some glass in the middle, which is neat. Think you could store things in there?

As well, I found these weird metal boxes with punctuation symbols on them. One's yellow, one's red. And they also come in sharp-edged and dull-edged variants.

Imagine getting offed by some rude red entity

Well, I still have my Sunshine disc somewhere and am unable to play it anymore, so if I had a magic portal, I could send you mine.

Little story about these blocks: So I was around 7 when I got my first copy of Mario Sunshine (keep in mind this was probably 2002) Anyway back to the story, about 2 weeks ago I let my brother play this game for the first time, conveniently he's on this level. I'm watching and I decide to go get a drink, what do I find when I come downstairs. my disc was smashed in half, he told me exactly this, "I dropped it and stepped on it" Though what he said wasn't true and we had no other games. I said "Well be careful next time." I haven't let him play any of my games since.

From what I heard the reason why it feels that way is because of the engine change. There's a reason why that one cut enemy is brown in the trailers but is blinding yellow ingame.

Yeah, but as jank as it can be, I feel like it's got a special sort of charm to it, as well.
I'd certainly play again, even if it meant experiencing the pain of the watermelon mission, among others, again.
