Swamp Holes

Description
Swamp Holes is pretty much what the name suggests:
A marsh landscape based on the layout of the new Blue Lagoon rms but modified a lot.
The high amount of randomly placed ponds creates very different areas for players. Some may be more closed while others may be together on a bigger island but with a higher chance of town centers or relics close by. The foggy forests provide lots of different food sources ranging from groups of monkeys and cranes over buffalos and hippos to few fishing areas and crocodiles.

oh so that's why there were none! It was one of my first maps, I was pretty inexperienced back then. Guess I'll fix that some time soon. As for the relics I guess you could remove some constraints or use others and change the number of spawn-attempts per player.

Oh, also the hippos in the rms don't spawn, as they are incorrectly referred to by the full word "hippopotamus" rather than the unit's in-files name, just "hippo"

I was driving myself insane trying to get more relics to appear in this map - I've been able to do it for most others, but this one seems to do object placement completely differently. I understand if you haven't looked at random map scripting in forever and don't remember how; otherwise do you have any tips?

Since Age of Mythology also has these different surfaces, I naturally used a variation in this map as well.

Most maps in Age of Mythology should have alt versions for Grass, Sand, Snow, Tundra, Jungle, Hades and Olympus. Age of Empires 2 has that.

Sadly I don't have the Chinese expansion and the truth is I was just too lazy to adapt the maps since I get nothing from that 😅

I like this random map a lot, though it doesn't seem to change to the Huge map size introduced by the extended edition.
