Description/lore

The Spectre class defense fighter, is a rather unique type of fighter. The firepower on the Spectre is tailor made for shooting down small grid craft, and it's nimble enough to dodge fire from enemy fighters and interceptors. Yet it's range is abysmal, designed only for short flights, which is why these ships are classified as 'Defense fighters'. Their only purpose if too defend REC assets, whether it be ships, fleets or stations. They do this exceedingly well.
