Description
Not really a submarine, more like an undersea bunker. These can often be seen patrolling the waters around military installations, or guarding large colonies from the dangers of the abyss. There have been plans to fully automate these defensive behemoths, but for now, a highly skilled crew is needed to operate them.

You can use this as a starter sub, but you will start with no money. (Don't worry, you have everything you need to start)
All the way points for AI-bots should be fine.

In my original idea, it was supposed to be shaped like a fidget spinner, but now you can just T-Pose on them.

Features
  • The room layout is symmetrical, making movement of personnel throughout the sub easy. There are 3 airlocks, 2 on the cargo level, and 1 on the bottom.
  • Command Room and Gunnery Compartment located right in the middle of the sub. Its the safest place to be, and doors cannot be accessed by outsiders/civillians.
  • Next to the command room is the brig. The lock on the door can be toggled on/off.
  • Switching to Battery Array forces reactor shutdown. Batteries can sustain sub while stationary, but will struggle if you move too fast. Upgrade for better performance.
  • Both Ballast Tanks have windows to look inside from the access passage. If you ever encounter ballast flora, there is a lever right next to the window to force the ballast to drain, so that you can deal with the alien parasite.
  • Reactor has an auto controller to keep it efficient.
  • Includes fabricator, medical fabricator, and deconstructor.
  • 8 Slots for diving gear.
  • Sonar Monitor in bottom airlock has mineral scanner.

When piloting the sub on sonar, the extended "arms" don't actually display, just the shell of the main sub. So when piloting around rocks and ice leave some extra space in between so that you wont crash into them. Imagine the extensions as kind of like a safety bumper. Crashing into walls at full speed will still send you flying, but at least it wont breach the hull.

Weapons
There are three weapons on each "arm" extensions located far from the main submarine hull. Each has a rail gun, pulse laser, and a chain-gun, in an alternating pattern. The controls can be found in the command room. Use the buttons to switch between each weapon. Inactive weapons on the arms have their searchlights turned off.
  • 3 Rail Guns
  • 3 Pulse Lasers
  • 3 Chain Guns
  • 4 Coil Guns on main hull for point defense.

Some monsters are attracted to searchlights. You have the option to turn off coil gun searchlights in the nav terminal, so that some monsters are only attracted to the weapon searchlights on the arms. Use this as a way of preventing monsters going after your submarine hull immediately.
(During the campaign, i've noticed thresher sharks and hammerheads seem to attack the weapons on the arm, but they don't actually do any damage to them, thus keeping my submarine hull safe.)

Be careful when using the laser and chain guns, they have attack angles that are facing towards the sub, so inexperienced gunners might damage the hull.
Also, because the rail guns are facing outside, and are located far from the sub, using nuclear shells might be viable...probably...

@Fe^Fi-Fo_Fum=( Yes, map generation does count them, sometimes leading to very wide and open maps. I have NOT run into a situation where I cannot reach the end of a map because the sub cant get through.

Hello, extremely unique sub design, however is it not supposed to be Zenith Guard? Gaurd looks like a typo.
