Regensburg main station is a busy through station serviced by several commuter train lines. ICE high speed trains from Berlin to Vienna also stop there. In addition, Regensburg serves as a freight hub for the north-eastern parts of Bavaria. Oil and chemicals are transported from the inland port at the river Danube to refineries around Ingolstadt, a rail-to-road container terminal serves as an outpost for the ports of Hamburg and Bremerhafen and a BMW plant receives parts from all over Europe.
Making sure the heavy freight trains do not slow down passenger trains is your most important task. But due to the requirements of just-in-time deliveries, the freight trains themselves are also on a tight schedule.

The map is based on the railroad network in and around the Bavarian city of Regensburg. While the overall layout is accurate, a lot of switching tracks have been left out and some of the junctions have been simplified. The wye is also fictional, in reality run-around tracks are used. Both regional and express lines are following the routes of their real-world counterparts, but the timetable is denser than it is in reality.

ICE trains have brake penalties enabled. Regional (RE) and freight trains (F) are allowed to stop.
All freight trains are single headed, so check on which end the engine is located and turn trains as required.
