The isotope was built for 1 and only one purpose: to kill. It has few crew accommodations, little in the way of long-term sustainability but it has the arsenal to take on massive swarms of aliens. You'd have to be spamming enemy spawn commands into the console all day just to come up with a threat that can challenge this absolute beast.

The railgun can be fired in either single shot mode or shotgun mode. In shotgun mode, the spread of the shotgun can be set to either "low" or "high". Low is roughly a 15 degree spread, high is roughly a 45 degree spread.

There is an automatic discharge coil button on the bridge. When this is turned on, the discharge coils will automatically fire. You can turn off this feature by pressing the button to turn it off. Note that there is not way to manually fire the discharge coils. Another griefing opportunity thwarted.

The self destruct is a single-use function that obliterates the entire ship and everything nearby it. It is intentionally not straightforward to use to prevent griefing and accidental detonation.

To engage the self destruct, use the "depth charge mode" button on the bridge to set it from "standard" to "self destruct". Next, go to the ammo storage room. Press the depth charge button in the ammo storage room. After a countdown of 30 seconds, surprise!
