Modified Modular Airfield Runway

Description

the purpose of this is to provide a version of this mod that allows you to utilize the modular runways without the overly expensive cost of concrete.

all blocks have had the concrete cost reduced by a factor of ten because in real life the use of concrete is meant to be cheaper than most alternatives. the steel plate cost has been replaced by girders without a change of quantity cost because in the laying of concrete you use rebar rather than sheet metal.

the cost of concrete in an assembler has been changed to make it cheap as it is in the real world. it requires a 10/25 cost of gravel/silicon to produce 35 cement mix, because cement mix usually requires a larger portion of silicate.

this is not an official change but it is available to those that want to use it and i give original credit to the original author

thank you!!

fair enough, you do not have to use it if you don't like it, this was designed so we didn't have to stress over the whole "mining a mountain part" we weren't worried about a gravel dump at the time. we just wanted to have fun and enjoy the mod is all :)

Nice change :3 however, I think both increasing the recipe output from 1 to 35 a pop and the cost reduction by a factor of 10 together makes them a bit Too cheap.

One reason why I picked the Modular Runways to begin with was to have a gravel dump.
However, the original was too expensive and required mining a mountain for one airstrip.
This one makes it too trivial and I don't use up enough gravel to get rid of it...

i do not know of the top of my head, having play tested it only in our private servers we only used it for slow turns and runways for takeoffs.im not the original author so you would have to go to nukeguard to find out what needs to be done with regards to wheels

what wheel settings, on rovers, do you recommend so that it does feel like driving on unwelded block. Very grippy feeling when trying to turn

i would love to do a mashup with other mods but unfortunately im not any good with C++ programming, i only modified values to make this in some ways more balanced. if anyone would like to just make sure you follow the original authors instructions before reposting

Maybe a Mashup with modular roads? Can use the same component (Asphalt) and maybe some road to runway connection. I'm just throwing out the suggestion before I subscribe

its to rebalance the recipe requirement and make the runways more reasonable to use. plus the weight of the concrete to the volume was absolutely insane and unreasonable. the runways normally are so expensive that it makes them not worth using in all honesty
