Some people may find the level of detail causes performance issues. You may find going to the \mods folder and renaming the '..compt_detail.obj' file to '...compt_detail._obj' (meaning it won't be recognised as part of the model) solves/reduces the problem. This file is large and typically contains the compartment lights, mirrors, luggage racks and some other bits and pieces, so won't be a huge loss.
If you're still taking a performance hit, you can rename/remove the other .obj files starting with the larger ones until you're left with the '....body.obj', at which point I can't offer any more help
