MCRN Hayabusa Class Heavy Frigate

Description:

The Hayabusa was designed after the UN-MCR War to incorporate improvements in stealth technology, drive technology and offensive technologies to create a manoeuvrable and imposing heavy frigate which could patrol large swathes of the belt. To do this, she was fitted with:

18 PDCs
24 Torpedo Tubes
8 Spitfire Cannons
2 Railgun Turrets
2 Double Barrelled Cannons
...and a superheavy hull mounted railgun.

With a comprehensive PDC grid, and the ability to damage large and small ships alike, she was a force to be contended with.

Towards the front she possesses a large section of heavy armour and non-decked space which can shield the CIC from frontal assaults.

She also comes fully equipped with a fleshed out interior and cargobay as well as the ability to land on planets.

Personal Notes:

So this ship is probably my favourite design that I have built so far. She is sleek and agile, but also entirely made out of heavy armour. I based it off of a ship design I had seen on Reddit, I will try and find the link to the post but I don't have it handy right now. Her thrusters were a nightmare to design though as the vanilla thrusters just weren't powerful enough to move her, so I switched to the tiered thrusters instead. If someone can be bothered replacing the heavy armour with light armour then she would work fine with vanilla thrusters.

I also took inspiration from Pabble2's Tachi design. I initially ripped the rear straight off of that ship but eventually had to expand and rework it significantly to get the proportions right.

If anyone knows a way to replace heavy with light armour then please let me know and I will create a vanilla version.
