Even though Wildermyth is a different world, basing your mods on actual historical info from a matching time-period is fantastic.
My own love of history grew from research I did to improve the tabletop D&D campaigns I created as a youth.

No matter what you create, somebody, somewhere will forget that you are not their mum cutting the crust off their sandwich, and conflate their preferences with. If criticism is not constructive, remember to picture the writer as the full-grown crybaby that they are.
