Description
This is the DN64 version of Red Light District it was originally called "Gun Crazy" but since Duke 3D doesn't support the textures from DN64 which is the gun store didn't make much sense to call it that. It is pretty much an upgraded version of the original. I have added some of my own details to the map the stuff i added doesn't effect the gameplay only the look it was just to make it even cooler.

Like I said, you did great with what you have. I wouldn't even know where to begin on building a custom level.

It's funny, i got this game the other day and I hadn't played since Duke on the N64 in the late '90s. So, I'm walking up to the babe in the first level and hitting "E," trying to save her but she just kept telling me to kill her. ;) A web search told me why that wsn't working.

Workshop wont allow us to include custom mods with a map. We are limited to only posting a map with music and a picture. Weapons and art would have to be downloaded seperately and then manually imported into the gameroot for it to work. But then it wont just be for the map it would change your hole game :)

Very nice. That took me back. This was the version of the game I had back in the day, since I didn't have a computer yet. You did a great job of reconstructing the level as best you could. Of course, we still can't save the babe (I always liked that about Duke Nukem 64) and the weapons are "wrong," but the rest looks great. The strip club is fun, but I always liked Duke Burger too.

Thank you for bringing in Duke64 maps into the original one. I always found Duke Nukem 64 to have the better map designs, but Duke 64 had its cons.. like no music for example.
Where are the weapon mods from?

Sure we can play again sometime, sorry I can't add you to friends right now :( I have reached a steam limit. So we are going to have to run into eachother in order to play , untill I level up on steam again.

Is great to know others enjoy these versions as much as me thanks. It's not only DN3D that helped make Duke Nukem such a big success in the 90's when it went to console it was a great port and helped alot in reaching even more players. :duke:
