Keep in mind this is not an exact replica

(from wikipedia)
The Handley Page HP.52 Hampden is a British twin-engine medium bomber that was operated by the Royal Air Force (RAF). It was part of the trio of large twin-engine bombers procured for the RAF, joining the Armstrong Whitworth Whitley and Vickers Wellington. The Hampden was powered by Bristol Pegasus radial engines but a variant known as the Handley Page Hereford had in-line Napier Daggers.

The Hampden served in the early stages of the Second World War, bearing the brunt of the early bombing war over Europe, taking part in the first night raid on Berlin and the first 1,000-bomber raid on Cologne. When it became obsolete, after a period of mainly operating at night, it was retired from RAF Bomber Command service in late 1942. By 1943, the rest of the trio were being superseded by the larger four-engined heavy bombers such as the Avro Lancaster.

- Armament -

2x MGs
6x 200lb Bombs
2x Anti - sub depth charges

How to fly

To fly go in through a hatch in the back, and get in the pilot seat. Turn off the parking brakes (located by your right foot), turn on the ignition, and turn the throttle up all the way. It doesnt get speed too fast so you may need some runway, but once your off it flies fine. When you drop the depth charges keep in mind they blow up around 10 Meters underwater. you will find the map and radar right behind the pilot. Enjoy!

I keep it like that for a good reason, though its not the most realistic thing ever if you took a large blow from AA or got shot up right in the center of the fuselage the plane would do exactly what it does in stormworks. Collapse in. If you go on youtube you can find videos of larger bombers (maybe lancasters, B24s/17s, ect) getting hit with flak and the wings folding up. And so i dont think it would be very realistic to go out onto a broken and folded wing and repair it only for it to revert to its original position

Very fun plane! I love vehicles that are very capable, very low-lag, and very simple above all! I'd play DCS if I wanted a sim. Despite this, there's one problem that, in my opinion, mars this creation's perfection. There's no way to get to the wings during flight, so in the very common event of one of the hinges being broken, it's a guaranteed crash. Other than that, great job!
