Description
MISSION 2
START!

Description:
Part 2 of the Metal SlugBound mod. Like all sequels this is not as good it's just a bunch of objects based and items on destructible things and item pick ups from Metal Slug.

Features:
  • Many purely decorative objects
  • Many interactable objects (Beds, music players, etc)
  • Containers
  • Crude humor (just a little bit)
  • Items (Foods, fuel, etc)
  • Rumi Aikawa (Craftable vendor)

Roadmap:
Mission 1: Weapons and Explosives (COMPLETE!)
Mission 2: Objects and Items (COMPLETE!)
Mission 3: Fun and Games (START!)
Mission 4: OST
Final Mission: The All-in-One Pack (With slightly different mechanics)

Compatibility:
As far as i'm concerned, this is compatible with anything and everything. I tested this with my personal modpack that has WAY too many mods so i'm pretty sure it's fine.
However, should you find some sort of compatibility issue feel free to tell me down below.

FAQ
Q. Why not include "x" from Metal Slug Deffense/Attack and/or other titles?
A. I want this mod to be about the classic Run n' Gun Metal Slugs (1,2,3,4,5,6,7 and Advance) However if I find something interesting in MSAttack (Started playing recently) and I feel like it, MAYBE I will hear some petitions, I'm open to those games (as seen by the AMR and the Freezegun) but don't expect too much stuff from those.
Q. If not NPCs and/or Clothes why not placeable characters?
A. Honestly i'm still thinking about it. However, if i am to add characters as placeable sprites, I feel that 1. All of them would need to have more than 2 frames of animation (meaning not only that i would spend a lot of time respriting everything i would also remake the vendors) 2. they would need to do something anything otherwise why make them anyway?
Q. Why not more/other objects?
A. Two reasons: the avaliability of the sprites and i feel there aren't that many objects that can do or be used for anything.
Q. If you're planning on doing more things why not wait and release them as 1 big mod from the beginning?
A. For various reasons, 1. you may only want one part of the mod, 2. i'm still learning how to mod starbound (and i'm doing it rather slowly) 3. These mods have been in development hell for a looooooong time ok?
Q. Why do the sprites feel... off?
A. Well, if you're talking size wise, that's just the deafult size of the sprites from Metal Slug.
If you're talking about the colors, I recolored the sprites with a Stabound palette to make them fit in better (I will not be doing this with all sprites, just the ones I feel don't fit in or need some recolor)
Q. I don't see Clothes/Wigs/Characters/NPCs and/or other stuff in the RoadMap
A. You can EASLY Make any Metal Slug Char with the right Clothes and Hair Mods, and they would look way better than using the original sprites, I don't see the point in adding those.
*If you REALLY want me to do it, get the full pack (once I release it) on the featured mods section and ask for it in the comments, and I will do it as a reward of sorts.
Q. Vehicles/Mech parts?
A. I tried ok? really really tried, i've been trying to make both vehicles from the original sprites, and Mech parts based on "Mechs" from the games, but i just can't figure out how to make it work! when it's not the size, it's the collision, of not it's off centered. i've been at it since the beginning of 2020, and these finished mods have been in development hell an entire year so sorry but no.
Q. When is the next Mission comming out?!
A. Later.
