Description
Goals of this mod:
  • Encourage more long-term game play
  • Encourage players to loot a certain location for something ie more ammo at police stations.
  • Encourage players to explore a skill subsystem like jarring or the metalworking recipes.

What does this mod do?
It increases and balances the spawn rate of certain items for MP

These certain items are:
  • Increased rates for Nail Boxes
  • Battery spawn rates are doubled for the Louisville battery factory.
  • More Gas Can spawns
  • More fishing materials at the hardware stores
  • Doubled rates for Jars and jar lids
  • Ammo in police stations is increased to make them worth looting
  • More Propane Accessories! - Increased rates for Propane tanks, Blow Torches, Welding Rods
  • Higher rates for Sheet Metal and small sheet metal
  • More Barbed Wire
  • More VHS in their stores and rare spawns at the library.
  • Higher rates for Concrete Powder Plaster Powder, Paints
  • More spawns for Sledgehammers, Fire axes, and wood axes
  • More spawns for certain Skill Magazines - How to use Generators, Herbalist, and the two cooking magazines
  • Hunting Knives spawn in gunstore display cases
  • More various car parts (and engine parts) at mechanic shops!

Q: Is Authentic Loot Rates compatible with the the newest Build 41 Patch? (41.65)
A: Authentic Loot Rates is fully compatible with the 41.65 update!

Q: Can Authentic Loot Rates run on Build 40?
A: No, this mod is incompatible with Build 40. Build 41 only.

Q: Is Authentic Loot Rates compatible with [X] mod?
A: Possibly. Ask about it in the comment section below.

Q: I found [X] bug or error. Can you fix this?
A: Sure! My goal is to have the mod as compatible as possible with any mod whenever possible. Please state what error you found and if you have any other mods that may have caused the conflict.

Q: Does this work with Multiplayer????
A: Yes. I was able to host a server with the mod enabled. This mod was made for MP.

Q: When joining a modded server, I get the error "File doesn't match the one on the server" How to fix??

why would you make this mod, the spawn rate is already of items ridiculous
especially ammo?- or axes and sledgehammers, silly..

(but, it would take say 3-5 sachets of small vinegar, to make up normal vinegar or something)

maybe a mod can add in those tiny sachet packets of salt, pepper, and vinegar and ketchups that fast food places used to always have like macdonalds in the past (before they started charging for ketchups) :lunar2019piginablanket:

Salt and vinegar have abysmal drop rates, too, compared to reality. Seriously, on the default settings (rare), I have looted three entire restaurants, including two that served fries, and walked away with a single sachet of salt. Maybe worth addressing that, too?

VHS only named VHS, is exactly like book named "book" Consider it just being a mere random entertainement object, it reduce boredom
