After the Infection got out it began infecting Citizens it grew into these creature that would consume people and tear them to shreds. After military gotten word about this they went to attack the creatures but was consumed by the corrupted or devoured by this thing.

After that the entire state of Arizona went into full on lock down and walls was created around the entire state to keep the infection inside the state.
