Good work in Hermosillo, Ghosts. From the information we got out of the HVIs you captured, we've managed to figure out who's responsible for this new offshoot of the Santa Blanca Cartel.

Enter one Fernando Diaz, also known as El Leñador or "The Lumberjack". He earned this moniker because he's quite fond of using axes to dispatch his victims. During the Bolivian operation, he was a relatively unknown member of El Muro's security operation. Thanks to his anonymity, he managed to slip under the radar when Nomad and his team were dismantling El Muro's operation; now, he's back and he's got plans. Fortunately, we managed to stop him from putting those plans into action, and now it's time for us to take down the man himself.

The Lumberjack has taken claim to a small island about 15 kilometres off the coast of Baja California. We can't approach the island from the air; we'll be detected immediately and El Leñador will be able to escape without much effort. We've had the Activity running constant surveillance on the island for the past few days, and we think we have an in.

On the night of April 22, we believe that the Lumberjack's security detail will be holding a small party; we don't know why, as we haven't exactly given them anything to celebrate. Anyway, some of the guards will likely be drunk by midnight, so we'll insert by RHIB on the west side of the island. The weather forecast for that night predicts a thunderstorm and heavy rainfall; in addition to that, the island will likely be covered in thick fog thanks to the fact that it's right out in the middle of the ocean. We've managed to get you guys an assist; a US Navy vessel on return from deployment will be passing through the area on its way back to Coronado Bay, so we'll be able to fly out to the vessel. From there, they'll lend us a RHIB, we'll conduct our op, and then return to the ship for the ride home. We're going to have CIA contacts meet us at Coronado when the ship docks to take El Leñador off our hands; they're gonna want a few words with him.

The island isn't too large, but it's large enough to fit two buildings and a helipad comfortably. The helipad is on the northeast corner, the main house in the centre of the island, and a guardhouse on the southeast side of the island. You'll approach from the east, circle around the island then land on the west side; it's the only suitable landing point for the RHIB. From there, you'll be able to cut off one of the two buildings while you clear the other. Alternatively, you could just run in, find the HVI, capture him and extract. Once you're on the ground, it's your call, but bear in mind that if you're not careful, the HVI could try and escape. Make sure that doesn't happen.

A few notes that may help; the houses both have spotlights activated by motion sensor. If you trip those and someone happens to be looking, then you can kiss the element of surprise goodbye. There are fuseboxes on both houses; on the guardhouse, the fusebox is on the southeast side of the house. On the main villa, on the northwest corner. There are a few possible points that the HVI may also be around; surveillance has frequently placed him in the garden room on the north side, kitchen in the centre of the house and the sunroom next to the enclosed patio on the west side.

You know the drill; get in, get the Lumberjack, and get out. Simple, but it likely won't be easy. Good luck, Ghosts. You may need it.
