I have been thinking of what if China can have through-service between China State Railway and local metro network just like Japan. However, due to the differences in train loading gauge and disputes between stakeholder, it is nearly impossible to achieve in reality. With this mod, we can now build a vast commuter rail system with through-service in China, or any where you like.
The reason that I choose the width of 3100mm and 3300mm is because the width of Type 25T Passenger Coach is 3105 mm and the width of CRH6 is 3300mm. (Type 25T Passenger Coach is one of the most common coach in China's conventional lines, and CRH6 is commonly seen in intercity/semi-high speed lines.)

If the train accelerates too fast or the top speed is too high, you can adjust the ratio of powered cars or apply a speed limiter.



China Fictional Type A metro train (3100/3300 mm)
In-game name: Fictional China Metro Type A
Length per car: ~23m
Max Speed: 180km/h
Max passenger per car: 320~330
Recommended train formation: 3-8 Cars, 3/4 + 3/4 Cars, 2 Cars

China Fictional Type B metro train (3100/3300 mm)
In-game name: Fictional China Metro Type B
Length per car: ~20m
Max Speed: 180km/h
Max passenger per car: 240~270
Recommended train formation: 3-8 Cars, 3/4 + 3/4 Cars, 2 Cars

China Fictional Type AH metro train
In-game name: Fictional China Metro Type AH
Length per car: ~20m
Max Speed: 180km/h
Max passenger per car: ~250
Recommended train formation: 3-8 Cars, 3/4 + 3/4 Cars, 2 Cars



Recommended combination of cruise speed and speed limiter:
target top speed → speed limiter
160 → (no speed limiter needed)
140 → 160/150
120 → 130

Be noticed that you can not remove the speed limiter after you purchased the train.
