Remove Retirement Age

Description
I made this mod simply because I wanted my characters to last though a long campaign without having to worry about them retiring. This is not necessarily a balanced way to play the game.

- This mod simply changes the retirement age of humans from 45 to 999.

I haven't changed much so I don't foresee there being many issues however I have not extensively tested this mod so there could be problems.

Thank you. I wish we had more (magical?) events to put a character's age back to ten years, so that our most played characters can potentially never retire, but that the feature would still exist for immersion. Maybe a mod like that might come up someday. That'd be nice. But coming to think about it, I so love this game that maybe I could start making mods for it myself...?

Is this compatible with the healthy humans mod? or will it reset the age penalty stats to default? just wondering because characters seem to age really fast in the base game

Hey, I'm playing "All the Bones of Summer", and I wonder, does the fact that the "Prodigal parent"/old mystic doesn't retire effects the story in anyway?

smokeys wounds, morale and defenses have to all be disabled as they all conflict with it.

It should work with no additional steps, it might be clashing with another mod. It changes the retirement age in the file that contains human stats so anything else that also edits that file might interfere.

I subscribed but it isnt changing the retirement age at all. I tried in both a saved game and new game but nothing. Is there an additional step that I am missing?

I don't see why it shouldn't work with older saves but I have never tested it. I have started a new game with legacy characters and it did work with them.

Yeah when you look at the stats of your characters the displayed retirement age will be 999 or above.
