Medarot S - Ragdoll and Prop Pack

Description
This model pack includes ragdolls for some medabots and props associated with their medaparts. I ported these models from assets retrieved from the files of the mobile game Medarot S: Unlimited Nova.

There was an available method of converting the meshes to a usable format, but not the bones, which were separate from the meshes. So I had to re-rig them myself. The rigs are not perfect or accurate, since I had to guess where the bones should go for each bot. I made some slight modifications to the meshes to accommodate for possible poses that they likely weren't designed to be in.

-Extra bones that can be posed with bone-moving tools.
-Bodygroups for certain medaparts.

I also rigged some parts that probably weren't made to be posed, so they may not bend very well. The bots' hands weren't designed for posing, either. I've updated the hands with better rigging and topology adjustments so they look better when posing. It may not be the best, but it is a significant improvement from my previous rig. I still recommend using a bone-moving tool to pose the fingers, since they aren't in the best position for the Finger Poser.

--Notes--

-Certain bots have bones for their shoulder plates, knee plates, and/or ankle plates. You can rotate them if they end up in an inappropriate position when posing.

-Some bots may not be compatible with the Finger Poser.

-Punainen Nena has a peculiar object hidden on her back under some accesories. I don't know what it's for, but I rigged it for anyone who happened to know.

-Gokudo has bones for moving the parts that extend his arms. Because this also moves his hands I couldn't give his hands physics. You'll need a bone-moving tool to pose them.

-I rigged Seagaru's tail, but it's mainly for just adjusting its position a bit. It wasn't modeled for posing and won't look good bending too far.

-Rifitan and Feapari have alternate "skins", but they have different texture mapping and slightly different mesh shapes. They wouldn't work as texture skins, so I made them bodygroups. There are also two versions of each with different physics setups.

-Some of the Megaman Battle Network medarots have shoulders that weren't designed for many poses. The best I could do was give them "shoulder adjust" bones so you can try fixing up any unintended positions.

I'll add more Medarot models when I find the time to rig and port any more. You can find the Source FilmMaker version here (if you even use SFM): https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3122205107

I only make ragdolls and props. You'll have to ask someone else if you want something else.

The game's files are in the system root folders. I used an android emulator to get root access. I don't remember the exact location of the models folder. I'm unable to check now because the Google Play store now blocks apps installed from elsewhere, and doesn't allow the app to be downloaded on the play store from anywhere other than Japan.

I know that this could be a lot to ask, but do you maybe have a tutorial on how to extract the files from the game and convert them for use in Blender? My modeling skills just arne't where I want them to be yet, but I'd really like to print out some newer designs like the new KBT and KWG units. Imma just have to use something other than the Noesis program you mentioned if it can't be found anymore. Thanks in advance!

By merging the verticies, if you really needed to bend that part of the finger backwards.

sorry to be a pain in asking, but do you know a way that I can fix the gap in the fingers manually?

For those who haven't checked recently, I finished with the Battle Network collab bots. That was a whopping eight models in a single update, it'll be a while before I decide to work on any more.

Yeah, that was from me using a lowpoly rigging technique I saw in some of the Yo-Kai Watch models. It helps joints that bend inward look better, but becomes a problem if it bends outward or twists. Those parts of the fingers don't normally bend outward or twist, so they usually wouldn't be a problem in most poses.

hi, i don't want to be a pain but i noticed with at least the fbx version of these models when bending the finger outwards there is a gap in the joints.

Eventually. It's a long process to convert, fix up, rig, and then port these models. Alone, I should add.

Will you be adding the models from the Mega Man crossovers at any point?

My last update was only a few weeks ago.
