No Power: Newly placed Micro-G Extractors don't need power (default off).
I solved that problem for myself! One of the other mods (one of ChoGGi's? I forget) has the Omega Telescope revealing ALL Breakthroughs instead of just three. Two of those Breakthroughs are pretty important; learn them ASAP:
"Eternal Fusion" (Upgrade that makes fusion reactors fully automated and doubles power output to 600 -- 10x polymers to upgrade).
"Prefab Refab" (able to convert most buildings into prefabs)
So, I build a few unconnected Fusion Reactors on Mars, convert them to prefabs, and take one with me (along with 10 extra polymers) to the new asteroid. Place one reactor, upgrade it, and I have constant 600 power for the whole asteroid --way more than I'll need! (Don't forget to bring some maintenance mats to maintain the Reactor... electronics, I think?)
