Editing (save-)files is always on YOUR OWN risk!
I highly suggest you to make a backup of the file(s).
Miss a comma or add a letter at the wrong place (by accident) and your save file is ruined!

If you fear you will ruin (your) joy by doin this - just don't do it and try beating the missions legit!

• Open Run with WIN+R (Key)
  
• Insert %userprofile%\appdata\locallow\Game Labs\Ultimate Admiral Dreadnoughts\
  
  You can also use the explorer to navigate to said directory.
  
  
• Look for a file called settings.json
  
• Make a backup of the file!
  
• Open it with an text-editor. (I'd recommend windows notepad, easiest)
  
• Make the window smaller (1) till it looks like the example. (below)
  
• Look for a word missionsProgress (2) That's the start of the naval academy unlocks!
  
• Copy one of the lines (3). You have to copy the full line, with the comma!
  Depending how much missions you completed you will have more or less "mission lines".
  I have about 50% done rn, so my list isn't that long! (yet)

• Now use one of my hand selected (annoying) mission templates and replace the name of the mission you just copied.

• The result should look like that:

• Insert your edited line, below the line you copied. (the sorting doesn't matter, depending which mission you completed first it can be quite mixed up!)
  Just make sure it looks exactly like the other lines!
  
  
• You can either unlock more missions or save the file now.
  I havn't figured out whole order / naming sheme rn but it seems to be either complex_test_XX
  or New_Mission_XX

You can always come back to the "completed" missions if you have more patience or feel masochistic. ;)

I believe gaming should be stressless enjoyment, especially in a sandboxy PVE game like UAD!

I published this guide, because i think there are other people thinking the same and might not have the patience to fiddle around with savegames/configs on their own.
