Updated the about.xml for this mod to 1.4 allows me to use this mod with no problem!

Mods great regardless. Aesthetics are just as important as function. Plus if ppl really wanted they could just adjust there fishing mods settings to compensate for the new items once they are built. Player DIY styles haha

You could always ask on the rimworld modding discord. You've already got the vanilla tool cabinet, just ask them what to change to make it boost the speed of a fishing spot.

@Ouroboros You could probably work out how to code this stuff on your own, I'd bet! I am useless at coding but XML is legitimately trivial when you work out the basics. I'd estimate that within 15 hours of messing around with a few other people's simple mods you'd be able to work out how to add some simple extras yourself. If a fishing spot works like a workbench then vanilla already has support for nearby buildings increasing workspeed (the tool bench makes most other workbenches perform faster based on proximity) so it's just a simple matter of reverse engineering the correct language and formatting to make it work for your own buildings. Animation is a little trickier, and if your vision extends too far from vanilla behaviour then you'd need a competent coder to make it for you... But simple stuff like workspeed increases are genuinely easy. Good luck!

@happyTrigg How do you reply directly to someone in these Steam comments? Does this work? Anyway. Yes Trigg! I agree :) Unfortunately I'm on budgets getting everything I want into the game. I commission everything I want. This means I can't always go full out getting coders, animators etc.!

I might add a donation button to the mods I upload, and if people donate I can use that money pool to add more features to the mods I commission as well as having them updated.

I'm in a tricky situation because I'm not rich but OKish on money. I have enough to commission many of the mods I want, but not enough to add logical features etc. to everything.

Maybe the better compromise in the future, is to sacrifice some of my dreams - to rather go full out on those I want. So I don't end up commissioning a ton of half-assed mods xD

Cool if they increased fishing speed or catch quality if built near fishing spots. But that sounds like alot of work. Cool mod though.
