In an effort to rule the Idolverse, Nico Yazawa wanted to create a virus that made people look and act exactly like her. She had all the perfect ingredients in her magical mixing bowl- sugar, spice, and everything nice. However this all took a turn for the worse when she accidentally added an extra ingredient to the concoction: autism

The mixture formed an ever-so expanding mist that sheathed the earth. Once the mist died down, most, if not everyone had been infected by it, turning into cruel depictions of Nico Yazawa. While all this madness was happening, The famous idol group was doing a reunion tour around the world, without Nico. She had become a much bigger idol after high school, and all attempts to contact her for the reunion were futile.

The group was separated in Pennsylvania and Georgia due to communication errors. They would soon realize their separation would become permanent once the mist settled in. Finding themselves immune in a now ruined hellscape with Eli, Rin,Maki, and Kotori on one side, and Umi, Nozomi, Hanayo, and Honoka on the other, they plan to find out what exactly happened, and to survive this Nico Nico Nii-saster!
