this ain't your normal Octogon SPAS script- ya see, ...

Changes the SPAS-12/Combat Shotgun's script into a version that is made for the Octoshotgun.

This will shoot all 8 barrels at one time.

The weapon has a spread that will not increase when shooting, and has been made preset, regardless of moving.

I know it's been a while since you've done any l4d mods, but if you ever have the time, do you think you could some day make a lower damage version of this? I really like this mod, but I really want a version that feels more balanced with all my other weapons, maybe around 250-300 damage per shot instead?

also, as far as I'm aware, sound caches are made regardless of sounds being there. I understand this is a script and I'm trying to show you how to sort mods, not exclusively sound mods

with source games, i sort them by having them both installed and loaded once into the game, so there's a sound cache, then i unsub from the one i want to be loaded after, i delete that one's sound cache from the content file, its in the steam files, then resub to that mod. once it's loaded again, theres a new cache and for some reason it tells the game to load this after. In games where sound mods and more prevalent, I do this to make sure whole voice mods load before any one voice line meme mods, that way the memes override the voice packs. If that doesn't work, maybe look online if there was some way to do it within the game like nmrih?

ive had scripts work for me before with the zenith ak or sum. but how would i run the script before the model. like unsub from both and sub to the script first then the model?

I don't really know how to help you, I'm not a l4d2 modder, but I can say that maybe you should try loading the script after the model, or something

Hey if i may ask, which part of the script in the txt.file that affects the chance to spawn? (im having a hard time making some personal script)
