Zoats for Lizardmen

Description
This mod adds the Zoats for all of the major Lizardmen factions.
I changed their appearance a little bit to make them more similar to the rest of the Lizardmen roster but they are still the very same Wood Elves vanilla Zoats for anything else.
They are available through the following building chains:
-Through the Jungles of the Old Ones landmark in Konquata and the The Emerald Pools landmark in Itza for all of the Lizardmen factions
-Through the Lizardmen main beasts building chain for all of the Lizardmen factions
-Through the main horde beasts building chain for Nakai

Ok, presentation over: let's dive into the technical stuff!

*BALANCE*
This custom unit Is a Vanilla clone and thus vanilla friendly.

*COMPATIBILITY*

As far as I know this mod works with pretty much everything that do not mess too much with vanilla units.
I'm playing the game with 100+ different mods and everything is working fine!
The mod is NOT save compatible.
If you want these Lustrian Zoats in your campaign you'll have to start a new one.

*KNOWN ISSUES*
-While I did remove most of the Wood Elves heraldry, the Zoats' "magical flying leaves" animation/vfx Is still there.
Can't do anything about that, sorry.

*UPDATES POLICY*

Let me be straight with you...when the mod status change from updated to outdated....if you start to spam in the comment section things like "update pls, OMG UPDATE, can we have an update my good sir?, UpDaTe!1!1!1" and similar stuff....know that https://media.giphy.com/media/e3URFlLQywEPC/giphy.gif

...But jokes aside: please don't do that.
When it becomes necessary, and when I can, I will update my stuff, do not worry.

*QA*
-"SFO?"
As a matter of fact I'm officially retired from SFO/Overhaul related mods.
As always: If you already have previous experience in SFO submodding feel free to make an SFO version out of any of my mods that are currently missing one, I will link your submods if you provide me with a link.

And that's all I guess!
Credits time!

Thanks to Phazer for RME editor!
Thanks to H3ro and his great tool!
Any of this would not have been possible without Frodo45127's RPFM which is still updated to this very day, thank you!
I would also like to thank Sebidee and Caligula for their great modding guides!
And I would like to thank you!
Whatever you liked my mod or not thanks a bunch for giving it a try!

Let's be brutally honest now: there are countless modders that are WAY more talented than me and that would deserve your money more than me.
That said, If you have grown to like my works so much to the point that you want to express your appreciation or just put a smile on my face...well: I will not stop you ;) .
You have my gratitude for all the support you can throw at me, independently by the donation's sum: you are all equals to me and I do thank you all.
From my part I can assure you that your donations will not be wasted, in fact I would mainly use them to:
-complete the Total War Warhammer DLC collection and thus expand my modding possibilities
-PC related things

I have officially concluded my modding journey on this workshop.
As always: feel free to make any kind of submods for any of my mods.

dope, nakai getting some zoat bros!

This is very fitting, as the lore heavily implies that these mysterious ancient creatures are likely some leftover remnant of the time of the Old Ones.

@Chomp I gave them the Kroxigor and lizardmen beast sets so they should get lord and tech bonuses from those categories.
Chomp 18 Jan, 2022 @ 1:19pm
what lord skills they use? the kroxi ones?

Oh yeah undeads from different races would be really cool to see.
Kinda sad that we pretty much only got ChaosRobie's Skeleton Dwarfs so far.

Going back to Azhag, CA could have gone a bit further and made it so he could raise the dead with a mix of lore of death and lore of vampire. Possibly given him the ability to recruit undead after a battle like Vampire Counts can. I'd also love to see CA or a modder made undead orcs, dwarfs, goblins, skaven and lizardmen. The way it'd work is after fighting a faction with an exclusive body type you could raise the dead after the battle and have a very diverse undead army. Maybe even different tiers of them, like normal cannon fodder skeleton orcs and Grave Guard Orcs with different random weapons.... I really went off on some ideas there lol.

Azhag wasn't exactly who I was referencing when I gave that example, just any random ork or goblin coming across a powerful artifact and soon realising they have an exclusive power when it comes to Green Skins. I've always considered Warhammer Fantasy to be very open ended when it comes to making your own lore and characters, that's part of the reason why I love mods like this one that add to the lore and allow stories to run wild. "How DID the Zoats end up fighting for the Lizardmen?" for example.

P.S. Always found the entire Azhag - Crown of Sorcery story kinda cool but really weird.
I mean: you get the magical crown of the greatest Necromancer of all times and then you only get access to the lore of death but not the lore of vampires??
I call BS on that.
