Sukhoi Superjet 100

The Sukhoi Superjet 100 is a Russian domestic aircraft which first entered commercial service in 2011. It has served a number of airlines in small numbers including: Aeroflot (Biggest operator), Cityjet (First western european operator), Interjet (Only US operator), Armavia, Yamal, Azimuth and Gazpromania.

The plane uses SaM146 turbofans, which were a joint operation with France and Russia to produce engines for the SSJ-100. It has a bypass ratio of 4.4:1 (close to 737 NG engines), while not impressive, it is still fuel efficient.
