Description
Never thought I'd finish this map but here it is...
This map started being worked on in late 2019/early 2020 originally as a remake of an old 2018 map I never released but it evolved into something much bigger and better and well now, it's finally here after 2 years. Thank you everyone for supporting me and being such a nice community, hope you enjoy this map!

This is a port, the map was originally made for Classic TSE, so if you encounter some bugs please let me know!

Enjoy!

@Ormedius CZ Yeah lol, Serious Sam isn't really known for spawning all the enemies for some reason.

I played this map last night on normal and it was enjoyable since I like corner peeking biomechs with RPG in Suburbs. For some reason I missed like 70 kills despite crawling into every single nook and cranny, triggering all spawns I could find and also finding all secrets.
One thing that I would like to note about this map is rather straightforward combat scenarios, where player enters area, enemies spawn and die but that’s about it. I spent more than half an hour exploring between houses hoping that I would trigger ambushes which happened more rarely as the level went on, in the second half ambushes were pretty much not a thing anymore.
Overall I would rate this map 7/10

i really look foward to playing this map, i will re comment once i do with my honest opinion. from the screenshots this looks ilke a really great map and im all for new serious sam maps.

good work btw, i found the serious editor hard to learn and never got my map off the ground, mainly due to things i was too dumb to figure out how to do

+ Extremely good visuals
+ Very Good Pacing, like Classic Sam

- Secrets were unsatisfying to find
- Map traveling is really boring

Played on Serious Difficulty!

If you add at least one small building or terrace you can visit to each district/arena (as it was done in Karnak, for example), then this greatly diversifies the gameplay, i think. Firstly, vertical combat will be added, and secondly, it's just to brighten up the progress, making it something more than wandering between huts. Or maybe some legal ways to climb and wander on the roofs of these huts (some secrets maybe). As example - the awesome Suburbs "remake" for SS Fusion:

Same town style with a lot of 1-2 floor buildings but you can explore all those roofs, rooms, backyards. Very catchy!

It's like I've passed the Suburbs level 10 times in a row:steamfacepalm: Too flat and repetitive to be fun... Very boring, sorry...

How to make a Serious Sam level:
1. Draw a large square
2. Fill it with a bunch of cubes
3. Dump a truckload of health, armor and most importantly ammo
4. Spawn random monsters
I almost fell asleep while playing this. I wouldn't have played this map if you hadn't told me to.
