hi yes hello there. right, so i managed to get this done and out for everyone to play! i put many hours into this, and many tears into getting the custom portal gun to work. hope yall enjoy!
i have the map setup that sets r_portal_fastpath to 0, so that way the portals look better. there's nothing i can do about the particles. also no, i will not tell you how to make a custom portal gun viewmodel; it was painful and i never wanna do it again.
also, this is NOT the only map im gonna be doing in this kinda Minecraft style. expect some more later on!

yeah i fixed that for several of the textures. just didnt get around to doing this with the chest and crafting table.

FYI, if you ever make another map like this I'd recommend saving the Minecraft textures without DXT compression - that limits them to 4 colors per 4x4 area, which isn't usually noticeable with high-res textures, but with Minecraft-style pixel art textures it messes up the colors badly. (This is especially visible around the chest latch). The only other formats Source provides are completely uncompressed, but these textures are so small that compression isn't really needed anyway.

i just can't finish the map, maybe its just me or there is an issue with the map
i think the portals are too small for the cube, so the cube can't fly through the portal to get to the other side
would like to play in the future
