Androids - Upgrade Tweaks

Tweaks some stuff in the Androids mod. Listed below.

(Updated 1/26/2022) Vanometric Cell no longer negates food need, but it still replenishes energy, similar to the solar duster, but all the time. What this means is that androids don't need to eat to live, 'cause androids don't starve, but they can eat, which allows them the mood buffs from food.

I also added a patch for SOS2; if you have it, then it costs exotic particles to make the upgrade, which with SOS2, you get from deconstructing vanometric cells, among other things.

The Archotech upgrade changed to a 50% increase in consciousness and mental break threshold. The original buff seemed lackluster and had no downsides, despite saying it was "dangerous;" 50% consciousness is not lackluster, and 50% mental break increase is very dangerous. Keep you Archotechs happy people! (Might change this; 50% is a lot of consciousness, but matches the original buff's 50% works speed increase)

Might add more as I keep playing.

Mid game install is fine, but not all changes will affect existing pawns.

It works well with Android 1.4. Just change "1.3" into "1.4" regarding the folder name and About.xml

Possibly, try it out and let me know. This one is all xml patches, so it'll probably be fine...

When I have time, I'll go through and update my mods, but I'm not sure how long that'll be.

Androids got updated to 1.4 in https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2889326293 , do you think that this mod will still work with the new mod or will it need something changed on the mod's side?

Yea, as iv'e said I also like it. But I can imagine that might change if all of ones pawns get casually instakilled because one didn't check every single health tab of whatever androids are in your base.

I just looked at, and I'm pretty sure it's explicitly intended. If a pawn has the undercover spy backstory, then they get the black box. It's trivial to change that, but like I said, I like it.

Yesterday I was copying an Android's mind with the vx chip from Android Tiers, and there was huge explosion that interupted the copy. Confused the hell out of me. Turned out a solar flare started during the copy, killing my black boxed android, and the explosion just confused me >< good times.

I also like it, im just mentioning it because ive seen a lot of people wanting to fix it. Maybe add a check when an android spawns to see if it has the hediff, then remove it?

Might be a good idea to modify the black box upgrade, it can spawn on random androids and it pretty much oneshots everything in a massive area. Its the thing people have been complaining about the most.
