Lush Earth

Description
Now contains Blamite for making Needler ammo with my hand weapons mod: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2859659166
it'll probably go away someday when I make a Suban moonplanetblob

Uranium starts almost a kilometer deep, platinum a little bit higher

There are two versions, a normal sized 120km version and a version tuned for 1200km Superlarge
For best results imo /wradius 1.0866, or 1.0655

I remade the heightmap from scratch by compositing NASA's Blue Marble elevation and bathymetry maps, so now there is an interesting seafloor, as well as a totally new biome/ore/foliage map I composited from various maps on the internet and RNG
I considered adding modded ores to the OreMappings list but decided that there are too many on the workshop to add them all, but you can
The process to do so is as follows:

1) Make a new local mod folder in your AppData\Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Mods and copy the Data folder and all its contents from my mod in steamapps/workshop/content/244850/2732303698

2) Retrieve the SubtypeIDs of the ore materials from the mod you want to add, open your PlanetDefinitions.sbc that you just made and ctrl+f for <OreMappings> (there is a section for each planet, so two in my sbc in total), scroll to the bottom of that list and make a new section following the format of the vanilla ores

3) For Ore Value, stick with above 100 and you should be fine, while the 120km version of Lush Earth only uses the odd numbers, the supersize uses all 100. The max is 255. This number determines where the ores will spawn on the planet based on the blue channel of the material map. There is no need to modify the map, as it contains all numbers 1-255 with equally random distributions

4) Your ore goes in Type, Start is the depth at which the ore body can begin existing, and Depth is the maximum depth that the ore can reach. Each node is random and not necessarily the same size, and there is no way to control that, so the more entries you make, the easier it will be to find your ore

5) You're technically done, you can now use your mod in lieu of mine and enjoy exploiting your new resources! If you decide to upload it to the workshop, include the resources you've added in its title in some form and please link back to my mod here

My only suggestion would be to get all the underwater areas a consistent biome, that is different from the ones used on land, with the way the game loads in stuff from space or high in the air, you cant tell the difference from land or sea. (i find this more of a issue on the 1200km diameter planet, Love the planet though <3

I've revised some instructions better detailing the process to add additional ores to Lush Earth, it's a piece of cake for me but I don't know your level of proficiency with modding. I won't do it myself because I don't use anyone else's ores and there are too many to add them all in reasonable amounts

just a question for reference, how hard would it be to edit so industrial overhaul ores work?

The planet contains every vanilla ore

What Ores are on the Planet?

Althought this is easily the best Earth map so far, there does seem to be a slight problem with this in that the ocean depth in shallow coastal regions is sometimes off. The result is either seafloor sticking up at low water levels or the trees being underwater at high levels.

The superlarge version can only be spawned in at 120km maximum without it, in which case is better to use the normal size version or else things various may be out of proportion. It is not required to have SE WorldGenPlugin V2 to spawn these planets and the non-supersize should work fine without it (: Plugins MUST be enabled manually by players who wish to use them

Why does it require SEWorldGenPlugin? Can we paste it into a world without it?

Very nice work, loved the Terra - realistic geography but this one suits me much better
