[ESS 1.4] Union Pacific EMD GP30A

Description
EMD GP30

Lore:
The GP30 is a 2250 Horsepower B-B roadswitcher built from 1961 to 1963. EMD's GP20 Roadswitcher was falling behind the GE U25B in performance, with the GE having easier maintenance access, 500 more horsepower, and newer technology. EMD planned on releasing an impoved variant of their GP20 to compete. Using the GP20's frame, they aimed to improve ease of maintenance and horsepower, while adding some of the newer developments such as airtight long hoods and a pressurized cooling system. EMD was able to squeeze 250 more Horsepower out of their 567 engine, increasing their horsepower from 2000 to 2250. This still fell behind GE but their good name in reliability would compensate in the sales. A problem arose in development in which they could not fit the extra equipment for their centralized air system. They could not lengthen the frame, so they built upwards, giving the GP30 it's iconic hump. Even units without dynamic brakes still had the same overall shape. The plan was to name this new iteration the GP22 but EMD decided that a new numbering would improve sales, portraying the locomotive as a new generation, which it was. Upon release the GP30 was able to counter the GE threat and kept EMD on top of the market outselling the U25B 948 to 467. It's reliability and brand name aided in it's success. Rather than developing a C-C special duty variant of the GP30, EMD built 48 cabless B units, all of which were purchased by Union Pacific. The GP30 served reliably, many being rebuilt into locomotives like the GP39M. Many of the rebuilds can still be seen today, while few in their original configuration still ride the rails, mostly in smaller railroads' fleets.

Features:
This Stormworks replica of a GP30 comes equipped with a 6 cylinder prime mover, And 2 wheel bases. The slave system is compatible with all of TheYotedOne's locomotives going back to Slave System 1.0.

Startup:
-All breakers must be on
-set the engine to run using the panel left of the breaker box.
-go to the access panel, located on the starboard centre, and turn on the ignition.

Operation:
-Once the locomotive is on, use the reverser to decide which direction the locomotive will travel
-use the throttle to accelerate the locomotive. (throttle will lock if the dynamic brakes are turned on)
-dynamic brakes are used for slowing down or maintaining speed down hills, as they do not wear out brake pads IRL. they serve little to no utility in game, but they are cool. In order to apply dynamic brakes, the throttle must be 0, then you can apply the dynamic brakes. you will not be able to throttle up until dynamic brakes are set to 0.
-the slave system is compatible with TheYotedOne's slave systems, the reverser must be neutral in order to turn on the slave system. if the locomotive is facing the opposite direction of the master, set it to "invert direction".
