Description


With the release of the Airports DLC. Ryde is reworking its entire lineup of airport related transportation, bringing in new redesigned liveries, more variety for rail related transport, more region based buses (ANZ, US, EU) and a consistent branding.

The entire lineup will be releasing over the next week.

Airport Connect is designed to emulate your locally operated airport routes, taking inspiration from AT Metro and Metlink in New Zealand on their local routes that travel to the airport. However you can use these Airport Connect vehicles in whatever sense you may want.

This asset has a big download size due to its high quality and as it is a Train, a Metro and Props. However with Loading Screen Mod it reduces it massively

With a Capacity of 820 this Train + Metro combo is an ideal choice to transport your cims from your city to your airport

These assets share textures between the Vehicle and their Props. Using Loading Screen Mod will reduce the amount of space these will take up

Recommended mods:

This asset makes usage of extra features implemented by the original asset, as such there are additional requirements you may need to get the best experience with this asset

Loading Screen Mod to enable texture sharing and reduce RAM usage. All cars and associated submeshes share textures.

Additive Shader for the front/rear lights and destination boards. Alternatively, use the new Prop Anarchy mod for better performance (read its workshop page carefully before subscribing).

i say make an airport connector metro, kinda like Milan Metro's new railcars for M2

I have tested it on a modless and a fully modded save, Tested my local version and the workshop version And had members of my discord test it as well as my friends who test and we cant recreate the issue youre having, it works perfectly fine for all of us. The only thing we can suggest is the usual rigmaroll of verifying files, checking the latest mods youve subbed to, Potentially checking if youre using MOM, checking if youre at vehicle limit etc. Unfortunately this is an issue thats out of my depth and really needs someone who has experience of your output log to have a look

I will ask my testers to take a look. Incase its something that isnt appearing for me but is an issue. However if it's been an issue since the update then this is the first I'm hearing of it. Will get back to you shortly with my findings

Noticed it two days ago, haven't been playing CS lately so can't really say how long its been like that. Tried unsubbing and resubbing and redoing the metro lines but the problem still persists. Want me to take a screenshot so you can see the problem?

Honestly not sure what the issue is. They are working fine on my end and no other metro thats built the same way is doing it. How long has it been happening?

Just noticed that only the engine is identified as a metro train, the trailers for the metro trains identify as passenger trains in AVO. Maybe this is the issue?

i havent touched since the last update anything so thats a very interesting issue youre getting. Unfortunately I have no idea how its fixed as the trains / metro are working fine for me

Me again haha... LSM is suddenly showing TrailerAirport Connect - Class 345 Metro as missing. In-game all the traincars look like the engine... picture 5 engines after each other

Hey, okay that makes sense. So basically, the rear unit is working like it should - all three white lights work and the red lights turn off when white lights are on. The main unit, templated off a metro train, is limited to two white lights, and for some reason the red lights dont turn off when the white lights are on. Is it possible to template the main unit off a train engine as well and that way get the lights working in both directions?
