Following its discovery, this valley had so rich soils that enormous works were launched to connect it to civilization by highways and railroads. But the discovery of unknown plant species had led to the classification of this valley as a nature reserve despite its various riches.

The lost valley

"According to an old legend, a giant's child wanted to make a sand castle. With his shovel, he cut a cube of earth on the edge of a lake.
Unfortunately the day was already well advanced and his parents told him that it was time to get ready to go home before nightfall.
The dejected toddler cried and threw his cube towards the center of the lake before following his parents.
Legend has it that where the toddler's tears fell, a spring of pure water was born and continues to flow in the place of the old cube."
