[MCF] "Defender" Fighter Mk4

The MN-05B was designed by senior engineer Mark Fisk in the year 2112. The primary design requirement was the same as its earlier predecessor, the MN-03C (2109), it had to fit through a standard gate door and dock in as small of a hangar as possible.

The MN-05B is significantly better armed and fueled than its predecessor, and can even function as a ranged strike craft should the fleet be low on interceptors, though in this department its range is still somewhat lacking.

The Defender excels where its name implies, in defending other ships and/or installations. It is fast to accelerate in every direction, devastating at close range, and to top it all off, it can be flown remotely.
