Prelude
Have you ever thought that hiring armies for minerals is a quite silly? Like, are we living in the Stone Age?

Wouldn't it be more interesting to hire them for alloys and food? And then also spend the food to provide them, so that your (and the enemy's) army would be limited to your production capacity?

Paradoxes probably have forgotten about the ground armies when they presented us the alloys system

This is an easier version of my original mod with the additional (food, alloys and minerals) upkeep removed

The mod is absolutety save compatible, so you can switch between them anytime and decide which suits you best



Changes:
  • organic armies are hired for alloys and food
  • lithoid armies are still harvested for minerals
  • but rebalanced to slightly less damage (due to slowness) and doubled survivability
  • new type of armies for lithoids, synthetic crystals (aka lithoid clones, opened by synthetic rare crystals technology)
  • also lithoids now have their own slave units
  • robot armies are now also built for alloys only
  • economic AI was a bit rewritten, so it should be able to manage with the new army system

Important note:
When making a list of mods, keep this mod at the end of the list so other mods don't grind the changes
